The prayer and intercessory ministry are very vital to the overall fulfillment of this great commission’s assignment. Prayer is the key vision God gave to this church as a divine mandate.
People in this arm of the commission must be willing to totally dedicate themselves to lifting up the commission and to stand in gap for the needs of others families, nations and the Body of Christ in general. (Ezekiel 22:30; Job 42:10; 1Timothy 2:1-2; James 5:14-16).
The people in this highly essential ministry must devote their time for self-development, reading the word of God and spiritual discipline such as fasting and prayer.
Periodical trainings, meetings and refresher conferences would be organized by the church to equip saints in this ministry for result-oriented Elijah-kind of prayer (James 5:17-18).
Knowledge of the word of God, abiding in His presence, being filled with the Holy Spirit and unwavering faith in Christ must be a divine identity of this ministry. (Matthew 21:12-22; Mark 11:22-24).
As a prayer warrior, you must live a life of total consecration, holiness and righteousness, and you must also be a vessel dedicated to the cause of kingdom expansion.
